Support the mission of CCTS and it's over 80 years of history.

Foundation Information

The Camden County Technical Schools' Educational Foundation (CCTSEF) was established on March 1, 2010. The mission of the Foundation is to provide an important source of additional revenue, resources and support for the school district. The Foundation's structure, board members and board of trustees are separate from the governing structure of the school district. It mobilizes community support and provides a forum for fundraising activities.

The Foundation is a 501 (c) 3 not-for-profit charitable organization in which contributions are tax deductible. As a tax-exempt nonprofit organization, the Foundation raises funds on its behalf and distributes those funds to the district to support high priority projects that are not covered in the district budget.

Whether it's the dream of purchasing theater-quality lights for the drama presentations; a set of magnetic letters for each child in our pre-school to practice spelling skills; the latest in educational software for the computer lab; outdoor seating for our athletic teams; additional wood for our carpenters; signage for our exhibits; awards for outstanding achievement, or any number things – each staff member has a list of "extras" that would truly make a difference in the educational experience and/or daily life at CCTS.

The goal of the CCTS Educational Foundation is to identify, quantify, reward and foster replication of excellence in education. We feel that empowering students, parents, teachers and policymakers with the tools they need to improve will serve as a catalyst for excellence in education.

Any CCTS staff member may make a request via an application process. Foundation members will review each application per a pre-determined schedule to determine eligibility. Applications that attempt to motivate students to exceed expectations, reward those doing well, or enhance the career education process to ensure our students enter the world with the skills to compete and succeed in an increasingly competitive global marketplace will be given highest priority. Applications must include measurable goals that must be met; otherwise, the applicant shall not be afforded the opportunity for future funding of a project.
