Fully integrated programs for 3 to 5 year old children.
As parents and educators working with preschoolers, we have the opportunity to set the stage for children's success in school and in life. Ongoing efforts to value children as individuals and embrace their unique contributions to the classroom community can inspire in them a love of learning that will last a lifetime. At Camden County Technical Schools we believe that children learn best when they are actively involved with materials and with others. That's why our resources for the Early Childhood Education program place so much emphasis on setting up the proper learning environment and building positive, meaningful relationships with children and their families. At the Early Childhood Education Center at Camden County Technical Schools The Creative Curriculum® for Preschool forms the basis of our fully integrated program for 3- to 5-year-old children. Nationally known for its forward-thinking, comprehensive, and rigorously researched model, our unique approach helps you successfully plan and implement a content-rich, developmentally appropriate program that supports active learning and promotes children's progress in all developmental areas. Whatever your child's level of experience, they will find the support they need to gain appropriate learning experiences in our program, including children who are English-language learners, children with mild disabilities, and children who are gifted.
Partnering With Families
At the Early Childhood Education Center at Camden County Technical Schools we view families as important partners in children's learning. Educators who foster trusting partnerships with their children's families are often rewarded with a deeper insight into individual children's learning styles and developmental progress. The Creative Curriculum® for Preschool helps families to be actively involved in their children's learning and development. It offers guidance on communicating with culturally diverse families in a meaningful and respectful way. You'll get the support you need to effectively help children navigate between their two most important worlds: school and home.
